The Danube FIS Portal was set up in the project NEWADA and further developed in its successor project NEWADA duo (both co-financed by the EU SEE Transnational Cooperation Programme). The project Danube STREAM (co-funded by the European Union (ERDF, IPA) ) takes up the Danube FIS portal and improves its functionalities and user interface until 2019.

The following legal entities:

  • via donau - Austrian Waterway Company (Austria),
  • Slovak Water Management Enterprise, state enterprise (Slovakia),
  • General Directorate of Water Management (Hungary),
  • National Association of Radio Distress-signalling and Infocommunications (Hungary),
  • Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure (Croatia),
  • Directorate for Inland Waterways Plovput (Serbia),
  • River Administration of the Lower Danube Galati (Romania),
  • Executive Agency for Exploration and Maintenance of the Danube River (Bulgaria) and
  • Administration of The Navigabile Canals SH (Romania).

(hereinafter altogether referred as the 'Danube STREAM Partnership’)

explicitly state that depth data at critical sectors are informational, based on actual water levels and results from latest hydrographic surveys. The Danube STREAM Partnership calculates and publishes these data in a best manner, as an aid to all users of waterways. All actual dynamic data at the Danube FIS Portal are temporary and subject to change. Errors in calculations are not likely, but are possible. Thus, no responsibility is taken either implicitly or expressly for the correctness of the information made available on this website. The Danube STREAM Partnership carries no liability and can not be held responsible for any damage resulting from use of these data. The Danube STREAM Partnership strongly advises careful consideration of all data published at the Danube FIS Portal before usage.

The Danube STREAM Partnership, furthermore, does not accept any liability for the content, products or services made available on websites accessed via the Danube FIS Portal website.

We ask for your understanding that the Danube STREAM Partnership cannot provide any warranty whatsoever for the software and information offered on its websites. This relates especially to operability in user-defined software or hardware environments, topicality, safety of use, correctness, sufficiency, permanent availability, or fault removal capacity with regard to downloaded software.
